| The World Protection Group (WPG) provides loss prevention and security for retail and mixed-use facilities to limit and investigate larceny, theft, shoplifting, embezzlement, fraud and other criminal activity that directly impact your bottom-line.
Loss prevention officers and specialist and important parts of the professional retail team and are responsible for protecting assets, such as employees, customers and merchandise while supporting a pleasant and inviting shopping and working environment.
Loss prevention officers are often the initial contact for employees, customers and vendors, responsible for controling entrances, exits and delivery/loading docks on a daily basis. WPG Loss Prevention Officers and Specialist must complete their respective 40 hours of pre-assignment and 8 hours of annual refresher training, as well as complete a criminal background check and drug testing. In addition, these specialized officers and specialists receive additional, application, site and post specific training for access control, incident reporting, delivery/vendor management, communications and handling difficult people, search/seizure and detention/arrest, customer service and surveillance. |
